Our story began with Joel Meintjes designing ecommerce and media websites for COVID-19 start-ups, as a side hustle. This sparked the vision to ignite a design powerhouse, which caught fire in December 2023 when RaceLine Design Studio was founded. RaceLine has now expanded its offering to be a one-stop pit-stop for UI/UX and product design services. We’re now on a mission to solve design challenges with simplicity and creativity.

Joel is laser-focused on producing high-quality, engagement-driven designs for mobile apps, web apps and websites. His journey as a product designer began during his high-school years with a side project—an online news and media platform for cyclists that was an overnight success. After studying product design, he honed his skills further by spending a few years as a website developer for an agency, helping businesses build successful online ventures. Fast-forward to 2024, Joel has completed over 40 web-based projects. He now specialises in UX/UI design within the logistics industry, further refining his expertise - working with stakeholders, business leaders, and developers in an agile environment to create meaningful web apps.
Beyond his creative space, Joel can be found exploring the world on his bicycle. And yes, he’s best operated caffeinated.
